Dr. El-Aswad just finished a three-hour program on physician burnout, resiliency, self-care, emotional intelligence, coaching, and self-care for the physician leadership program developed between University of Houston and Memorial Hermann Health Systems. This is the second year and the third time this presentation has been given by VSVS. Physician learn about the pathophysiology of burnout, discover ways for assessment, tools for combating burnout and develop action steps that are applicable on a personal, professional, self-leadership and leadership of others level.
